This issue is still not fixed
I'm not sure how to fix it

Not sure how to reproduce the bug -- haven't seen the phenomenon described here, though perhaps I misunderstand...

Karl Ramberg added a comment - 13/Mar/12 05:05 PM
It seems the bug is only when locale set to Swedish

Scott Wallace added a comment - 13/Mar/12 07:11 PM
Yes, I can see that it *does* occur in Swedish. So at first I thought that it might be a problem generally in any language, but I tried in a few other languages and didn't see the bug. So clearly it is Swedish-specific...

Looking a little more closely, I see that in the Swedish translation, "Skript" is provided as the translation both for "scripts" and for "scripting"; this gives two categories with the same translation, so that the reverse translation logic (categoryNameWhoseTranslatedWordingIs:) is not going to work right. I think if the translation file can get fixed, the problem will go away.

I can see that in the released 5.0, the issue still occurs when locale is Swedish. The fix needs to be made in the Swedish translation. Karl: perhaps this has already been done, and we'll see it in the next build?

Isn't there a way to not rely on reverse translation?

I asked the translators to fix this:

If they don't, we should just remove the translations for "scripts" and for "scripting" from the Swedish PO files so they are not translated.
