From TRAC #6988 (korakurider)

Split from existing TRAC tickets #6704 and #6921 (which were mainly on Etoys user experience)

In the attached archive are six fileouts created by Gerhard Steiner in mid-2008, which add #translated calls in the code for menu items and other language-dependent UI eleents at various places in the Squeak IDE:

Trans_System_Tools_Part1.4.cs (68.1 kB)
Trans_System_Tools_Part2.2.cs (56.0 kB)
Trans_LanguageEditor.1.cs (5.1 kB)
Trans_Misc_World_Menu.1.cs (1.0 kB)
Trans_Annotations.1.cs (3.6 kB)
Trans_GraphMenu.1.cs (5.6 kB)

Gerhard Steiner: (Accompanying the SystemTools fileouts) Attached please find 2 Change Sets with missing translations for System and Programmings Tools (~400 additional strings). The need definitely a review, as I'm not really a squeak expert :-).

(Accompanying Misc_World_Menu) Attached a cs with missing translation for world menu. Couödn't figure out, how to change some not translated items in "where in the world is..." (authoring tools, projects, appearance, debug - still english)

Nice enough to have, but arguably outside the scope of this year's efforts on behalf of kids and educational users... If someone cared to vet and complete the job started by Gerhard, however, we might still well push it through this year.
